Σπανουδάκης Ξημέρωμα στα τείχη - Stamatis Spanoudakis "At dawn toward the walls". Dedicated to the Day of the Fall of Constantinople and the Byzantine Empire, May 29, 1453. We Greeks and out other Orthodox borthers and sisters will never forget how we lost an Empire!!! Around 4:00 am, just a few hours before the sun rises, the Ottoman Turks and their Sultan Mohamed B' the Conqueror attacked the Theodosian Walls of Constantinople. It's Constantinople, NOT Instabul!!!
